Lord Krishna Educational Society has been formed for imparting Technical & Job - oriented education to the youth of our State in the rural area.  Lord Krishna Polytechnic College, Kapurthala has been established in 2003 to provide the quality education to the doorstep of a common man. Kapurthala is a formerly princely state. It is known as Paris of Punjab for having distinguished designs of the buildings by the Rulers of the Kapurthala. The Rail Coach Factory (RCF) and Science City are also in the vicnity as a  pride of the area. The Punjab Technical University (PTU) has also been setup at Kapurthala.

The  building has been constructed as per the norms of AICTE, New Delhi / Punjab State Board of Technical Education & Industry Training, Chandigarh./ Punjab  Govt.The foundation stone of this Polytechnic College was laid by S. Mohinder Singh Kaypee, the then Technical Education Minister, Govt. of Punjab on 20^th March 2003.
